ACT, Arts Created Together, is a program that brings curriculum-related arts programs and performances to every child at Bridge School.

ACT brings artist-teachers, dance productions and theatrical performances. Here are some examples of past years ACT events: David Zucker, Mother Goose, Peanut Butter & Jelly Dance, Pumpernickel Puppets, Mr. Magnet, Darden Smith’s “Be An Artist” program and more!

The “Walk for the Arts” is the only fundraiser for ACT programming.
Please participate and donate to “Walk for the Arts”.

The walking course is a loop around the Bridge School grounds. An adult must accompany kindergarten and first grade students.

We request fixed-amount contributions rather than asking for pledges per loop walked. Please support ACT’s programming at Bridge by contributing as generously as you can, even if your child is unable to participate that day.

Steps for participating:

  1. Complete the permission slip for your walker and return form as soon as possible.
  2. Sign-up as a volunteer and return form as soon as possible.
  3. Donations must be returned in the envelope attached by October 30.

Door-to-door solicitation is discouraged; however, neighbors, friends, colleagues, and relatives may be approached.

CONTACTS: Jackie Quint 652-8159 or Ami Stix 862-1966
