Some of this year's activities include: * Purchase of $1500 in playground equipment for 26 classrooms * Funding 15 mini grants for teachers totaling almost $7,000 (ranging from teacher training to curriculum development, books and classroom supplies) * Funding of $5,500 in teacher's purses to help teachers and Mrs. Manfredi fund their classroom/school needs * Production of the weekly Bridge to Home newsletter * Purchase of new P.E. equipment for Mr. Chamberlain (training pit cover) * Purchase of a special needs swing seat for the playground * Repainting the playground asphalt * Educational and informative guest speakers * Production of the school directory * Funding for Fifth Grade Activities * Staff Appreciation Lunch * International Festival * Science Night * Family Math Nights * Community Dinner and Square Dance * State/National Reflections Art Program * YES after school science program for 4th graders * Purchase of vacuum cleaners for teachers' use in cleaning their classrooms * Staff Appreciation Breakfast Despite trying economic times, the Bridge community stepped up to the plate with contributions of time, resources and financial support. We couldn't do it without you. Thank you all for creating a community of giving at Bridge. BRIDGE PTA YEAR END REPORT
