books

If necessary, students may have 1 or 2 books for book reports or class projects.

  • Books are checked out for a 2-week period, except for project books
  • Students may return and exchange books every day from 8:30-8:45, and M-W-F from 3:15-3:30
  • A book may be renewed if it is not on reserve for someone else. If there is a waiting list, students will be allowed one renewal only
  • We do not charge fines for late books. However, we will send out Overdue Notices periodically as a reminder to return late books. If books are overdue for over one month, borrowing privileges may be suspended
  • Books that are lost or damaged must be paid for. Borrowing privileges will be suspended at the start of the new school year if fines have not been paid, even if you are changing schools

Volunteer Policy

Volunteers are a critical part of the Bridge School Library Program, assisting the students with checking books in and out, and shelving returned books. Volunteering in the library is a great way to get involved at Bridge. If you are interested in volunteering at the Bridge Library, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Cary Morse.
